Illuminating The Great Controversy 5: Hallucinogenic

First of all, this blog is a continuation of my previous blogs titled; Illuminating The Great Controversy 4: Hallucination, Illuminating The Great Controversy 3: Mind Control Evil, Illuminating The Great Controversy 2: Telepathy Evil, and Illuminating The Great Controversy. This blog is intended for the general audience-therefore, simplicity will be its words, structure, and explanation. “Simple and straight to the point!” It is laid out in a questionnaire format to make it easier, even for any eight grader to understand and receive what the author is trying to present across effectively. So without further do, let’s get straight into it…

Question: What is Hallucinogenic?

Answer: Hallucinogenic are drugs that produces hallucinations, and other changes in thoughts, emotion, and consciousness.

Question: What are some examples of hallucinogenic?

Answer: Here, listed below are some examples hallucinogenic drugs;

·        Marijuana,

·        LSD,

·        PCP, etc…

Question: Is the term “Hallucinogenic” found within The Holy Bible?

Answer: No! You can search both Old and New Testament from Genesis to Revelation within The Holy Bible and you will not find the term hallucinogenic.

Question: Since Hallucinogenic are drugs, what is drug?

Answer: A drug is any substance other that food, that when inhaled, injected, smoked, consumed, absorbed via a patch on the skin or dissolved under the tongue causes a physiological change in the body.

In pharmacology, a medical drug, pharmaceutical drug or medicine, is a chemical substance, used to treat, cure, prevent, diagnose a disease or promote well-being. Traditionally drugs were obtained through extraction from medicinal plants, but more recently also by organic synthesis. Pharmaceutical drugs may be used for a limited duration, or on a regular basis chronic disorder.

In English, the noun “drug” is thought to originate from Old French “drogue”, possibly deriving later into “droge-vate” from Middle Dutch meaning “dry barrels”, referring to medicinal plants preserved in them. The transitive verb “to drug” (meaning intentionally administer a substance to someone, often without their knowledge) arose later and invokes the psychoactive rather than medicinal properties of a substance.

Question: Since the term hallucinogenic refers to drugs according to its definition, is their mention of the current English term drug within The Holy Bible?

Answer: Nope! You can search both The Old and New Testament from Genesis to Revelation within The Holy Bible and you will not find the term drug.

Question: How is drug evil and sinful?

Answer: The word drug is not found within The Holy Bible. However, in Greek language, the word drug is translated as “Pharmakia”. Remember, the New Testament of The Holy Bible was originally written in Greek due to the influence, power, and commonly excepted culture within their context back then. Pharmakia is translated into our English Bible as either “witchcraft” or “sorceries”. We also get our English word “pharmacy” from the Greek word “pharmakia”. Listed below are some of the texts within The Holy Bible that in relation to pharmakia or what we’ve just recently discussed above;

1.   Galatians 5:20 reads, “idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies.”

2.   Revelation 9:20 reads, “And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.”

3.   Revelation 18:23 reads, “The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived.”

4.   Revelation 21:8 reads, “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

5.   Revelation 22:15 reads, “But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practice a lie.”

In each of the five texts listed above, pharmakia or drug (witchcraft, sorceries, sorcerers, etc…) is listed as the work of flesh of man opposed to the Spirit of God working in us. The King James Bible translated the word pharmakia as “witchcraft”, because almost no one but witches and sorcerers used drugs 400 years ago. Drugs were commonly used in pagan worship to hallucinate in order to get in touch with evil spirits. As human beings, this is indeed serious! According to Revelation 21:8, those who characterized as pharmakia or drug use (witchcraft and sorceries engagement) will have no part in God’s Kingdom of Heaven.

Question: How can we avoid hallucinogenic? What is our best defense against Hallucinogenic (drug, pharmakia, witchcraft or sorceries)?

Answer: Our answer is found within the following text below;
Ephesians 6:11-17 reads, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against Flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to with stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God;” Let’s briefly simply explain the whole armor of God according to the above text in Ephesians 6:11-17;
1.     Helmet= Salvation.
2.     Sword of the Spirit= The Word of God-The Holy Bible.
3.     Shield= Faith.
4.     Girded waist/belt= Truth.
5.     Breastplate= Righteousness.
6.     Shod feet, shoe= Peace.

We can wear the whole armor of God-have Salvation, The Word of God, Faith, Truth, Righteousness and Peace in our lives by willingly accepting Jesus Christ into our lives. By opening the doors of our minds and our hearts to God: God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. By having being infilled and baptized with The Holy Spirit. That is how we can wear and have the whole armor of God.

To conclude, hallucinogenic are evil. According to Revelation 21:8, those who characterized as pharmakia or drug use (witchcraft and sorceries engagement) will have no part in God’s Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore Hallucinogens are tools from satan to gain as much souls as he can onto his selfish side of this Great Controversy! Our best defense against this deception from satan is none other than Jesus Christ Himself-God: wearing the whole armor of God. But thankfully Love, God’s principality is already victorious within this Great Controversy through Jesus Christ our Lord, according to Mathew 27:24-54. Yes, Jesus Christ was born into this sinfully earth a mere human being, but he was found without sin from the moment he was born into this earth, reached adulthood, baptized, did His Father’s will, died on Calvary, resurrected and ascended and went up to heaven. Or in other words, he overcame sin, selfishness, and was victorious against selfishness throughout his life here on planet earth-Love prevailed in Him, that is why Love (God is Love according to 1 John 4:7-10) is victorious within this Great Controversy. That is why we need Him to overcome selfishness since; He is The Only True Way that leads to Life according to John 14:6, and The True Vine according to John 15, especially John 15:5. It’s really simple, “WE NEED JESUS CHRIST.” Without Him, we’re nothing-we cannot overcome sin and selfishness on our own, and we cannot have life-that eternal life that was promised to us by Jesus Christ in John 3:16 without “Jesus Christ”: accepting Him, following Him, and having Him in our lives today. We need Christ within us through The Comforter, The Holy Spirit (see my previous blog why we need the Holy Spirit: http://peterjnrbebi.blogspot.com/2015/07/when-we-have-holy-spirit.html) which He had previously promised us before he ascended up to heaven. Remember, when we have The Holy Spirit within us, we have Jesus Christ within us-since The Holy Spirit is part of our Trinity God: God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. When we are infilled or baptized with The Holy Spirit, we can be able to choose God’s principality of Love within this Great Controversy as our choice. Remember, “JESUS CHRIST IS COMING SOON, TIME IS SOMETHING WE ALL DON’T HAVE, AND THE POWER OF CHOICE IS YOURS.”
